Reverse osmosis (RO) water purifiers are able to produce an amazing level of water purity and remove nearly all contaminants. The IQ Water Signature Series 1000 system is a fine example of the technology.
PURE
The reverse osmosis process is able to remove 90-99% of contaminants such as chlorine, lead, fluorides, as well as bacteria and viruses, tastes and odours from the water. The result is a highly pleasing, fresh tasting drinking water.
EFFICIENT
Reverse osmosis membranes work best when there is a highpressure differential between the feed water and the pure water. Pumping the feed water and not storing the pure water ensures that the membrane is always operating under optimum conditions and producing the highest quality water with less waste water. Signature Series 1000 flushes just half of a litre of water per full litre of pure water.
Traditional RO systems operate on just mains water pressure and produce pure water slowly. The pure water is collected and stored in a tank for use at a later time.
FAST
In traditional RO systems the speed at which the pure water is produced is a trickle, so the water must be collected and stored for later use. If usage patterns vary and more water than is available in the tank is required in one go, then the system runs out of pure water temporarily. The Signature Series 1000 system utilises a high-pressure pump and the very latest membrane technology to produce pure drinking water on demand at a flow of up to 2.5 litres per minute. No waiting, no warming up in storage and much less water used!
SAFE
The system also monitors and displays the purity of the drinking water. Plus it will warn when the filters are due for change and automatically shut down when the cartridges are exhausted. By eliminating the storage tank from the system, the Signature Series 1000 Water Purifier eliminates the possibility of stagnation, temperature gain and tank failure/contamination.
HEALTHY
The Signature Series 1000 system incorporates a re-mineralisation stage as standard*. This adds a controlled amount of healthy calcium minerals to the pure water which enhances the taste, increases the pH and provides alkaline water.Sustainable

The system delivers sustainable, high-quality water filtration through a smart multi-stage process. Its combined pre- and post-filter only needs to be replaced once a year and includes PP filtration, activated carbon, and antiscalant protection. The PP filter removes sediment, corrosion, and other solid particles, while the carbon filter reduces chlorine, unpleasant tastes, and odours. The antiscalant helps protect the system’s internal components from scale build-up. A high-efficiency multifunction membrane then removes organic compounds and other microorganisms present in the water.
